Fall Centerpiece Idea

When we found this idea on Homestead Revival, all we could think was, “That is so Bridechilla™” so of course, we must share with all our fabulously chill readers. If you weren’t in love with the vintage box idea to carry your floral arrangements, try using a pumpkin as a vase this fall. And if you’re having one of those “why didn’t I think of that?” moments, we’re right there with ya.  All you have to do is scoop out the insides of the pumpkin and put a clear glass bowl in the center, add filtered water, and place a clear small plate underneath. Don’t forget to toast the pumpkin seeds to enjoy for a great fall snack!

Chevron Pumpkins!

Carving pumpkins? Psh! We are so ready for something NEW. October is finally here and we are absolutely f a l l i n g for these Chevron Painted Pumpkins. If any of our Bridechillas are making these this season, shoot us some photos! We’d love to see.

First, tape chevron pattern on to the pumpkin.

And then paint it black and let dry.

And VIOLA, uncarved yet beautiful pumpkins for the season!

Bridechilla™ Tip #10

Tip #10 – How to be a BRIDECHILLA™ – Bring your guests something warm and sweet on your wedding day.

Fall brings us beautiful weddings full of orange and red hues falling from the trees, pumpkins, and Bridechillas carrying bouquets full of the season’s best florals. But our taste buds are drooling over this tasty treat for guests… Just imagine hot cocoa with crushed graham crackers rounding the rims of each glass.. OMG, Liquid smores!!!!

Bridechilla™ Love

One of our September Anniversary (2011) Bridechillas, Ashley, was featured on Veronica Passalacqua’s blog recently! Veronica is  Off The Beaten Path Wedding‘s favorite hair/makeup stylist and she makes our CHILLAS so NATURALLY beautiful, we look forward to having her hang with the Bridechilla gang anytime. Not only a CHILL BRIDE Ashley works at the very famous and very CHILL Blackberry Farm where her husband Peter was formerly the executive chef for many years. Now, he operates the culinary program at Ruby Tuesday’s… talk about a chill foodies event!

And of course, Congratulations Ashley & Peter!

Ombre Wedding Cake Piñata & Fiesta Inspiration

We love our Bridechillas for holding down the chill on their big day, but we love them even more for throwing a great party afterwards. There are heaps of ways to have a rockin’ reception, and we just love this idea for a full on fiesta. Combine a margarita bar, sombreros, a mariachi band, a dancing Bridechilla and a DIY Ombre Wedding Cake Piñata and you have a fiesta celebration your guests won’t forget… Salud!
